What to do with old CD cases?

When my husband sorted out his office he ended up with a big bag of CD cases. I was determined to find a practical use for them. Coincidentally I had a lot of little bits and pieces pinned up around my studio. To bring a little order and inspiration, I tiled empty CD cases onto a big canvas and filled them up with knitted swatches, fabric samples, embroidery and images. I am able to change the contents of the cases easily.

It has worked out really well. Now the only thing I have to do is find a use for the actual CDs! Any suggestions?
